You are a beneficiary of our Social Helpline

As a beneficiary of a Luxembourg Red Cross service, you are required to communicate personal data to us. The Luxembourg Red Cross attaches great importance to the respect of your private life and the protection of your personal data. This notice is intended to inform you of the use made of the personal data we collect, as well as the rights you have.

WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

Your personal data is collected and processed by the 2755 telephone service and the Social Helpline (referral and initial care social service) in order to provide you with the service(s)  that you contact us for, for statistical purposes and as an observatory of claimants’ needs.

WHAT TYPE OF DATA IS COLLECTED?

In accordance with the law, the Luxembourg Red Cross only collects data necessary for the execution of its missions. This is generally data that you have communicated to us. Other data may be generated or collected during your relationship with the Luxembourg Red Cross. The data collected is mainly:

HOW LONG WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED?

Your data is kept for the time needed to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, for a maximum of two years for files without CRL financial assistance and ten years for files with CRL financial assistance applications.

WHO IS YOUR DATA SHARED WITH?

Your data is treated confidentially and is only shared with third parties where this is useful, necessary and in accordance with the law. These third parties may include other entities of the Luxembourg Red Cross, the competent administrations and authorities, as well as service providers, particularly in the case of IT outsourcing. In the latter case, we ensure that your data is stored and processed within the European Union.
