Sandy is mute and lives alone with her child. Before our intervention, she lived with her mother, but thanks to the support of our donors, she was able to get a house where she can raise her daughter. The construction was made to resist cyclones, which are very frequent and devastating in the north of Madagascar. Our aim is to protect all vulnerable people in the Sava region, one of the most affected areas of the island. We do this by helping women and their families to build solid and sustainable habitats.
