In 2024, we witnessed a global surge in armed conflicts that deeply affected already vulnerable communities. In response, we strengthened our humanitarian efforts, particularly in Ukraine—now in its third year of war—and across the Sahel region.
As part of the world’s largest humanitarian network, the Red Cross Movement, we worked hand in hand with national Red Cross societies and swiftly deployed our teams to the field, tailoring our response to the documented needs of local populations.
Our expertise, especially in shelter and humanitarian habitat, was dedicated to supporting those most at risk. At a time when displaced people and refugees fear for their lives, we remained committed to assisting them with dignity, compassion, and respect.
