Democratic Republic of Congo: protecting survivors of sexual violence through safe housing

05 November 2021

The project to build 65 wooden houses in the localities of Katana and Kavumu in the Democratic Republic of Congo is almost complete! The beneficiaries of these safe houses are mainly women, survivors of sexual violence, widows, with 7 to 9 children, but also families who had to flee the violence in their home village and seek refuge in villages less exposed to conflict.
