Picture yourself sitting on a sailboat and hearing only the breaking of the waves and the wind in the sail. At 41 metres long, the two-masted clipper ship “Dageraad” is one of the largest traditional Dutch passenger sailing.
Depending on the wind and weather conditions, we will either sail across the Ijssel Sea to the Frisian Islands, or navigate the country’s inner canals. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never sailed before. Our experienced skipper and his crew will be on hand to show you the ropes…all we ask is that you come and give it your best shot.!
At the end of the trip, our clipper will moor up at the tidal flats. With our feet firmly on dry land, we’ll learn all about the the sea right from its shores…
