Reopening of childcare

15 May 2020

From 25 May 2020, the 6 “crèches” managed by the Luxembourg Red Cross will reopen. This will be done in strict compliance with the instructions and recommendations of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Childhood and the Ministry of Health.

As a general rule, reception will be provided between 7 p.m. and 7 p.m..

Parents whose child(ren) is/are to be looked after in a crèche during this period must register with immediate effect. The documents were sent by email. A registration will be confirmed by 20 May at the latest. For sanitary reasons, the care will be organized in fixed small groups of max. 5 children, which will reduce the capacity of the crèches. We will therefore have to apply priority criteria.

The internal regulations, which are an integral part of the registration, can be consulted here (pdf in French).

After these long weeks of confinement, the staff of the Red Cross Maisons Relais are looking forward to welcoming your children again and offering them an adapted but high quality educational offer.
