In the presence of Marc Crochet, deputy General Director of the Luxembourg Red Cross, the local branch of the Red Cross in Dippach honoured two of its volunteers, Ms Warnier and Ms Tritarelli, for their 10 year commitment to the organisation as “quêteuses” (volunteers who collect alms for the Red Cross during the traditional “Month of Giving”). On the same occasion Ms Gilles was commended for 20 years of voluntary service as secretary of the local chapter committee in Dippach.
Thanks to the proceeds of a very successful autumn-party held in 2019, the local chapter in Dippach raised 2000 euros for the Red Cross “Butteker” (social grocery stores). An additional amount of 2000 euros was collected for the Luxembourg Red Cross’ “Service Vacances”, which organises holiday camps for children.
