The traditional Red Cross Bazar will be taking place on November 18 and 19 from 10am to 6pm at Le Glacis. The money raised will go to support actions for young people and children in need, in Luxembourg and around the world.
At the Bazar, you’ll find a wide range of handicrafts, antiques and design items, as well as second-hand clothes and takeaway treats. You’ll also be able to eat in the convivial atmosphere of the food village. Younger visitors will have the chance to meet Kleeschen on November 19 at 11am and 3pm.
Proceeds from the Bazar are allocated to actions in support of young people in need, in Luxembourg and around the world. Various professional teams and volunteers from the Red Cross will be presenting their activities in these fields to visitors.
« When you’re a teenager or young adult, you should be devoting your energy to building your future. And this is not the case: the pandemic, the effects of global warming, the conflicts in Ukraine or the Middle East create an anxiety-provoking environment that prevents them from taking an optimistic view of the future. They need to learn how to cope in this complex world and with the way it affects them, their families and their friends.
