Hauss-D is a temporary accommodation service for people who use drugs and are living in situations of extreme precarity and homelessness, for a maximum duration of three months.
The service provides a safe and supportive environment, along with comprehensive care for individuals who, in addition to social vulnerability, are facing medical distress requiring appropriate support—care that cannot be delivered in a street setting.
Because health goes beyond physical care, our team works in a cross-disciplinary way to address all aspects of daily life and social reintegration:

• Medical Unit: Nurses and nursing assistants ensure medical follow-up, treatment adherence, and physical comfort.
• Social Unit: A social worker supports residents in accessing their rights and finding long-term solutions.
• Educational Unit: Specialized educators foster social connections, autonomy, and the organization of daily life.
Admission to the Hauss-D service is based on an application file, which must include:
• A social component (background, administrative situation).
• A medical component (current care protocol and medical follow-up, medical history).
