Every change starts with an idea. Learn how to turn an idea into a social project that contributes to society, following the motto of the Luxembourg Red Cross: “Mënschen hëllefen”.

Do you have an idea for a social project with the Luxembourg Red Cross, or would you like to get involved in a project but don’t know exactly how? Then join our workshop!
Whether you already have a concrete idea or are still looking for inspiration, you’ll learn how to turn your desire to get involved into a concrete volunteering project.

During this first workshop on Project Management, we will introduce you to the Luxembourg Red Cross and brainstorm together about what a volunteering project could look like and how you can turn your idea into a concrete project.

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is aimed at young people aged 15 to 30 who:

• want to get involved socially with the Luxembourg Red Cross
• want to make a positive and meaningful impact
• don’t have an idea yet but are looking for inspiration
• want to turn their own idea into reality
• want to learn how to plan and implement projects

Why take part?

• Meet other young people who share your enthusiasm for projects
• Learn how to turn an idea into a concrete project
• No prior knowledge of Project Management is required
• You can participate individually or as part of a group
• Snacks will be provided

What can you expect?

During the workshop, we will cover the following topics:

• In which areas is the Luxembourg Red Cross active?
• What is social engagement?
• Project Management – from an idea to a project
• Practical session
• Brainstorming possible projects with the Red Cross

Possible projects:

• Awareness-raising campaigns
• Fundraising activities
• Activities
• Events
• Or something completely different

• Date: 26 September, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• Location: 10, Cité Henri Dunant, L-8095 Bertrange
• Participation is free of charge
• The workshop will be offered in Luxembourgish and English, depending on demand
