Are you creative and would you like to express yourself about HIV by creating a design for condom wrappers? Then this competition is for YOU!
As every year on the occasion of World AIDS Day, celebrated on 1 December, the HIV Berodung service of the Luxembourg Red Cross is launching a competition. For the 2026 edition, the spotlight is on the “Art On Condoms” competition, with the theme “MY PARTY, MY SAFETY”. As in previous years, many prizes are up for grabs!
The message “MY PARTY, MY SAFETY!” reminds us that it is possible to enjoy parties while staying protected. There are different ways to prevent HIV infection; the most important thing is to choose your own method of prevention (condoms, testing, PrEP, PEP, TasP, harm reduction) – the one that suits you best, without stigma or judgement. Prevention should become an automatic habit wherever you are, even when you are celebrating!
The prevention message “MY PARTY, MY SAFETY!” must appear clearly and visibly on the design created.
Projects must be submitted by 26 October 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the latest.
The jury will independently select the projects chosen for printing. An online vote will also be organised on Facebook from Thursday, 29 October 2026 at 8:30 a.m. until Wednesday, 4 November 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
All submitted and accepted projects will be exhibited at the Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg from 30 November to 14 December 2026, as part of our annual solidarity event for World AIDS Day, which will take place on 1 December 2026.
You will find on this page the competition rules. A registration form must be completed and submitted together with the artwork in order to participate. A poster is also available to help promote the competition within your organisation.
