“Je n’aime plus la mer” tells the story of refugee children

15 October 2020

The Luxembourg Red Cross, SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde and Kindernothilfe cordially invite you to the screening of “Je n’aime plus la mer” at the Filmfestival “Cinema du Sud”. The documentary immortalises the words of children forced to flee war and persecution.

Directed by Idriss Gabel, this film depicts the reality faced by children living in a Belgian Red Cross refugee reception centre, following their arrival in Europe. How to start over, how to blend into an environment that is different in every way to your city or village?

The film screening will take place on 21/10 at 7.30 pm at the CinéKursaal in Rumelange. Admission is free but you have to register via the following link. The film will be followed by a discussion (including a Q&A session) with representatives of the Luxembourg Red Cross, ASTI and Catch a Smile.
