La Spëndchen – a joint initiative of the Luxembourg Red Cross and HUT – is launching an operation in support of its twelve Buttek social grocery stores across the country. With the support of Delhaize, this large-scale collection aims to encourage the public to donate essential food and hygiene products to help those most in need.
Over three weekends – 21 to 23 November, 28 to 30 November, and 5 to 7 December 2025 – customers in 10 Delhaize stores will be able to purchase and donate key items for the hygiene section, sweet groceries, savoury groceries, and baby products: shampoo, shower gel, flour, biscuits, pasta, tomato sauce, baby food, diapers, and more. This simple act of solidarity will help the Buttek continue providing concrete support to families facing hardship.
Collection points will be available in the Delhaize stores of Alzingen, Junglinster, Bertrange, Pommerloch, Strassen, Schmiede, Capellen, Walferdange, Belval, and Schengen.
