Launched on April 24, 2025, REVEIL is an initiative led by several committed actors in Luxembourg. Its goal: to promote intercultural understanding and strengthen social cohesion through training sessions, workshops, and collaborative events.
The REVEIL project — Reinforcing Living Together through Interculturality and the Fight Against Racism and Discrimination — is the result of a partnership between the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the LISKO service of the Luxembourg Red Cross, and the Center for Education and Dialogue (CED). Designed as a four-year initiative, it offers a wide range of training sessions and activities targeting professionals in the social, youth, and childhood sectors, as well as municipal agents.
The content of the project was developed based on the findings of a 2022 study conducted by LISER and CEFIS, which highlighted the persistence of racism and ethno-racial discrimination in Luxembourg, particularly in the areas of employment, housing, and education. In response, REVEIL offers basic and advanced training on interculturality and the fight against racism and discrimination, hands-on workshops, and train-the-trainer programs to ensure long-term, local impact.
