The consultations aim to enable minors to identify, understand and regulate their emotions in situations of psychological vulnerability.
By fostering better self-awareness, we help the minor replace previous violent behaviours—whether psychological, physical or sexual—with non-violent conflict resolution strategies.
This concerns acts of violence occurring in various social contexts, whether within the family, school, institutional or public sphere.
In order to manage the regulation of conflicts and emotions in everyday stressful situations with other young people or adults, working on self-esteem and self-image is of major importance.
As these are closely linked to past relationships, we recognize the fundamental importance of first building a relationship of trust with the minor.

Through adapted psychological tools (play-based activities, emotion cards, drawing, etc.), the young person progresses at their own pace towards better self-awareness. This process enables them to identify their needs, express them clearly, and learn to set their own boundaries in social interactions.
Lotus promotes an approach that allows for the occasional involvement of parents (or the legal guardian), whether at the beginning of the support process or at key moments throughout. During the entire process, we remain fully available to parents for any request for exchange or discussion.
