On December 1, 2025, the HIV Berodung service is organizing awareness, prevention, and testing initiatives to highlight the importance of testing and psychological support for people living with HIV.

In 2024, 40.8 million people were living with HIV worldwide, with 1.3 million new infections.
“The diagnosis remains a shock, which is why we offer free, personalized psychological support,” explains Laurence Mortier, director of HIV Berodung.

The HIV Berodung service offers free, personalized psychological support to assist individuals from the moment they receive their diagnosis and throughout their journey.
Screening is the only way to access treatment, whether for HIV or other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Today, living with HIV is no longer a death sentence thanks to effective treatments. Don’t be afraid to get tested if you think you may have been at risk.
Free screening : 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at Red Cross headquarters, 44 Boulevard Joseph II
