Reopening of the “Maisons Relais”

15 May 2020

From 25 May 2020, the Maisons Relais managed by the Luxembourg Red Cross will reopen. This will be done in strict compliance with the instructions and recommendations of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Childhood and the Ministry of Health.

As a general rule, reception will be provided between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., i.e. after the hours of classes (compulsory) or supervised study hours (optional), which are provided by the teachers. The Maisons Relais will be open during the whitsun holidays, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parents who wish to have their child(ren) supervised in a Maison Relais between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. are kindly requested to apply as soon as possible. They will receive the documents by e-mail, which will specify the local conditions. The need for care must comply with the request for need expressed in the census made by the school. Enrolment will be confirmed to the parents no later than 22 May. Reception will be free of charge.

The internal regulations, which are an integral part of the registration, are available here (pdf in French).

After these long weeks of lockdown, the staff of the Red Cross Maisons Relais is looking forward to welcoming your children again and to proposing them an adapted, high quality educational offer.

If you have any question, please contact “your” Maison Relais directly.
