The Red Cross Bazar is celebrating its 80th anniversary!

Don’t miss the anniversary edition of the Red Cross Bazar, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year! Join us on Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, 2026, under the Glacis tent in Limpertsberg for two days dedicated to solidarity and sharing.

You’ll discover a wide range of handicraftsbrocante and design items, as well as second-hand clothing and take-away delicacies. The food village will also offer you the chance to eat in a convivial atmosphere. Youngsters will have the chance to meet Kleeschen on November 30th at 11am and 3pm.

The SEA (formerly maisons relais) will offer a motor skills area for toddlers and a construction zone for older children.
The LOFT will provide parents with a welcoming space to meet and relax while their children have fun.
And to capture the moment, a photobooth open to everyone will be available!

The proceeds from the event will go to support initiatives for young people and children in need, in Luxembourg and around the world. Several Red Cross professional and volunteer teams will be present at the Bazaar to enable visitors to discover their activities in these fields.

The Red Cross Bazar is organized by the local section of Luxembourg City under the High Patronage of H.R.H. the Grand Duchess.

Supporting young people in distress

Throughout the weekend, Bazar visitors will have the opportunity to meet professional and volunteer teams from the Luxembourg Red Cross, who provide a personalised and appropriate response to each situation: psychological or educational support, holiday programmes, and support for people experiencing social or family isolation.

Humanitarian Aid will present the challenges faced by the Luxembourg Red Cross abroad in the event of natural disasters or armed conflicts. Its experts will be at the Bazar and available to discuss development projects and all their related commitments.

THE LUXEMBOURG CITY SECTION

More than 600 volunteers make up the local chapter in Luxembourg City. It is thanks to their efforts that a large number of initiatives are organized, including the Red Cross Bazar and Ball.

The Luxembourg City branch is one of 32 local branches of the Luxembourg Red Cross throughout the country. They are the platform for action for some 1,500 volunteers, and are the living expression of the Red Cross’s closeness to the country and its people, which has been the case for over a century.

In April, all local sections get actively involved in the annual “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign.
