When running supports children

23 August 2021

Registration for the RBC Race for the kids is now open. Participants from all over the world are invited to participate in this years virtual race.

Due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, the RBC Race for the Kids will return as a global, virtual format on the weekend of October 16-17, 2021. The event, organized by the Luxembourg Red Cross and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), will benefit the Centre Thérapeutique Kannerhaus Jean.

The RBC Race for the Kids is open to everyone, regardless of geography, age or physical condition. Participants can register for free at rbcraceforthekids.com – a registration and fundraising platform that provides a seamless user experience.

After registering, participants can download the app and take advantage of its many features, including selecting a pre-determined distance to run, tracking training miles to keep track of their ranking, and recording performance.

Participants are encouraged to run, walk or ride on their own or with family and friends, while respecting all health regulations in place.

In Luxembourg, proceeds from the race will support the Centre Thérapeutique Kannerhaus Jean. This centre is dedicated to families who are going through difficult circumstances and whose children show signs of behavioural or emotional disorders due to mental suffering.
