Initiated in 2013 by the HIV in Europe movement, the European Testing Week takes place from May 15 to May 22 and aims at raising awareness on the benefits of getting an HIV test. It is also an opportunity to inform people about the risks of HIV and STDs, as well as about the effectiveness of a treatment in the event of HIV infection.
In these particular times during, access to HIV testing may seem more difficult. But the HIV Berodung service participates to the European Testing Week in order to reiterate its support to efforts aimed at testing, treating and preventing HIV and STDs.
The service remains available for any question or support, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
To guarantee access to HIV testing, the HIV Berodung service offers HIV self-tests either by simple order at 2755 – 4500, or by email firstname.lastname@example.org. The support is free and it is offered in accordance with professional secrecy: any information transmitted will be treated confidentially.
