Part of the Soviet Republic until 1991, it is only recently that Ukraine has started a successful economic development. However, many structures, including those regarding health, need improvement. Children’s heart disease treatment is currently being developed in Ukrainian hospitals. The Luxembourg Red Cross has set up a project to give the Lviv hospital in Ukraine its autonomy in the treatment of heart diseases, while financing and organizing in France the most complex surgeries.

How is my donation used?

By donating to this project, you allow the Luxembourg Red Cross and its partners to equip and train local doctors to perform heart surgery on infants and children. Your donations also help bring to France the most severely affected children for surgery and their families.
