Essential in the search for missing persons, both nationally and during overseas operations, the rescue-dog section’s mission consists of searching for missing persons and locating living victims buried under rubble following explosions, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Between 2005 and 2011, the canine section has proven its worth several times in Luxembourg, Haiti, Iran, Algeria and Morocco.

Your donation to the rescue-dog section of the Luxembourg Red Cross helps save lives. It allows this section to invest in new search and rescue equipment and to train the dogs and their masters. It allows the rescue-dog section to increase its capacities and to be more efficient during interventions.
